A new force
In January 2008 PWS was acquired by THB Group plc to create an insurance and reinsurance broking group with outstanding expertise in specialist risks. THB was established in 1968 and includes risk management and underwriting services within the group as well as arranging insurance and reinsurance for wholesale and retail clients in the UK and internationally.
The combined depth and length of experience of the PWS and THB broking teams makes the enlarged THB Group a top choice for clients seeking insurance solutions for unusual or difficult to place risks.
A new scope
The PWS broking teams have always taken pride in their outstanding global connections which enhance their ability not only to assess risks in almost any location, but also to access insurance and reinsurance markets worldwide.
These PWS teams now work alongside (and under the same name as) other specialist broking teams in Thompson Heath & Bond Limited, the group’s Lloyd’s broking operation - one of the largest and most successful in the specialty market sector.
Clients can now benefit from an increased range of specialist broking teams working out of our London office, in the heart of the City and just a stone’s throw from Lloyd’s, as well as offices in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.
